Ume-Sho Kuzu (remedy drink)
It will Strengthen and promote good digestion and restore energy.
Use it when you are catching cold, or some stomach ache or digestive problem. Or you are just tired. It is very easy to make and it works extremely well. Kuzu has great healing power and Umeboshi is very alkaline and adjust any acidity issues.
Dissolve a heaping teaspoon of Kuzu in 2 or 3 teaspoons of cold water.
Put this into 4 cups of warm water and bring to a just before boiling, over a medium heat.
Stir constantly to avoid lumps, until the liquid becomes translucent. Reduce the heat to minimum.
Chop finely the pulp of 2 umeboshi plum, and add to the Kuzu liquid.
Add 1 to 2 teaspoon of Soy-sauce or Tamari sauce and stir gently.
Simmer for 2 - 3 minutes and drink while hot. This serves one to two persons.
