Kale Smoothie

Kale smoothie
Boiled the water, and  put pinch of salt, then pour onto kale for a three minutes. Quickly rinse with cold water. (The raw kale has Goitrogens. Goitrogens are substances that suppress the function of the thyroid gland by interfering with iodine uptake, which can, as a result, cause an enlargement of the thyroid, i.e., a goiter. But when you boil or cook kale for 2 minute or so, this inactivates the Goitrogens.)  So it is important to do this because of our thyroid health.
I have Frozen Amazake all the time. ( I make Amazake from short grain brown rice porridge. Mixed with brown rice Koji, and keep it warm for about 10 hours. This process brown rice porridge sweetened. Then pour in the flat pan, then freeze them. When frozen, cut them into small squares. I use 2 cubes for miso-suop, too.)
Also add two table spoon of ground flax seed (because very rich in Omega 3).

Put Amazake, treated kale, a few basil leaves, 2 table spoon of ground flax seeds and 1 tea spoon of brown rice syrup into blender for 40 to 60 seconds.
Garnish with nasturtiums' flower, parsley and chocolate mint.
"Voila, here is a super healthy refreshing smoothie. (Most of ingredients are from my backyard.)
