Exhaust repair 2001 Corolla

2001 Toyota Corolla. The exhaust was very noisy. We found that complete exhaust system is still in very good condition. The only problem was the flange part were rusted and broken off. This exhaust system is only 2 pipe system, means that the front pipe is all the way to the muffler and whole one piece, including catalytic convertor ($680.00). I think manufacture wanted to cut the cost down, so they made it in one piece. So we cut out the flange section. Measure the pipes and made sleeve to fit in both ends. After clamp down the sleeve we spot weld at few places. This is much better way to fix it and environmentally friendly and easy on the customer's pocket.
