Infiniti exhaust flange repair

This Infiniti has a loud noise, and exhaust gas was leaking at pipe. The leak was located just after the flange before the muffler. This pipe is part of muffler. The muffler is still good and nothing wrong. The catalytic convertor, front pipe, intermediate section are also in good condition. It will be shame to replace good muffler because just flange part is leaking. We decided to cut out a whole flange section, and made a sleeve. We enlarged the pipe (toward muffler) with expander tool so the sleeve will fit into rear pipe. Install 2 exhaust clamps and spot welded a few sections for extra secure connection. It is a good fix.
